On the former site of the SKF factories, the project aims to transform the former printing works of the newspaper Le Monde into a plural operation of housing, activities, retail, hotel residence, student residence and car park.<\/p>\n

For this block, which is integrated into the ZAC developed by SADEV94, ANMA is in charge of the work of 2 of the 4 lots (lots A and C), for which it also ensures the architectural coordination. As for lots B and C, they are entrusted to the Fr\u00e9d\u00e9ric Lebard and Tolila + Gilliland agencies.<\/p><\/div>\n\t\t\t<\/div>

The settling of the buildings is consistent with the urban development studies planned by the agency, the coordinating urban planner of one of the sectors of the ZAC Ivry Confluences. The internal streets offer smooth traffic continuity which will eventually develop across the district and in particular up to the future Parc de la Confluence, to the North. The volumes are defined according to the projects planned in the immediate vicinity, such as those under development on the site of the former Total refinery in the South.<\/p><\/div>\n\t\t\t<\/div>

The project has chosen to preserve and highlight the supporting structure, a concrete post-beam structure of the two halls housing the old rotary presses of the newspaper Le Monde. They will dress the heart of the block, reminding the memory of the place and its industrial past. The creation of an interior north-south pedestrian path, parallel to the structure of the preserved halls, will make it possible to discover this invisible industrial heritage which was, up to now, out of reach.<\/p><\/div>\n\t\t\t<\/div>

The two halls will be invested with various programs. While the smallest is to accommodate, on the ground floor, the necessary spaces to operate the hotel residence – reception, breakfast room, gym – which will be largely glazed on the outside and will participate in the animation of the in-door street.<\/p>\n

As for he large hall, it will house the halls of buildings A4, A5 and the pooling of a large part of the bicycle parking facilities proportionate to the site’s size. On its roof at level R + 1, two small wooden pavilions attached to buildings A4 and A5 will house 4 large family dwellings, offering terraces and gardens.<\/p><\/div>\n\t\t\t<\/div>
