Positionn\u00e9 \u00e0 l&rsquo;alignement \u00e0 la voirie, le b\u00e2timent suit un axe nord-sud, forme un ancrage visuel \u00e0 la pointe du quartier et affirme le nouveau caract\u00e8re urbain de la rue Achard. Le plan masse, lui, r\u00e9pond \u00e0 la pr\u00e9sence des hangars et \u00e9quipements industriels au nord.<\/p>\n<p>Le projet est un volume simple, un parall\u00e9l\u00e9pip\u00e8de de 70m x 18m et 15m de hauteur. La fa\u00e7ade sud qui forme la proue du b\u00e2timent, est rythm\u00e9e de brise-soleil \u00e0 lames horizontales qui portent des cellules photovolta\u00efques.<\/p>\n<p>La toiture comporte 4 grandes chemin\u00e9es solaires dont le principe consiste \u00e0 utiliser l\u2019\u00e9chauffement solaire pour cr\u00e9er un tirage d\u2019air qui assure la ventilation naturelle des locaux et leur rafra\u00eechissement durant la nuit. Ce syst\u00e8me affranchit le b\u00e2timent de tout recours \u00e0 la climatisation.
